Vote Against $27 Million Shows that Peaceful & Civil Engagement Can Keep Government In Check

EAST DERRY, N.H.—RebuildNH is celebrating the N.H. Executive Council’s 4-1 vote today to reject $27 million in federal funds that would have created 13 state vaccine propaganda positions and expanded the state’s unconstitutional vaccine registry, touting persistently peaceful and civil citizen activism as the perfect catalyst to protect state sovereignty, medical freedom, and medical privacy.

“The founders of New Hampshire created the Executive Council as a check on the governor’s authority, and today’s vote shows the wisdom of that system,” said Andrew J. Manuse, chairman of RebuildNH. “By supporting continued government overreach into private medical affairs, the governor was hoping he could continue bullying New Hampshire citizens to cater to his will, just like he did during the State of Emergency last year, and it is about time to end his continual lust for power.”

RebuildNH organized concerned citizens to urge the Executive Council not to accept federal grants because of the strings attached. On page 17 of the grant documents, acceptance of the funds would have required New Hampshire to: “1) comply with existing and/or future directives and guidance from the [U.S. Health and Human Services] Secretary regarding control of the spread of COVID-19; 2) in consultation and coordination with HHS, provide, commensurate with the condition of the individual, COVID-19 patient care regardless of the individual’s home jurisdiction and/or appropriate public health measures (e.g., social distancing, home isolation); and 3) assist the United States Government in the implementation and enforcement of federal orders related to quarantine and isolation.”

“We look forward to the next fight in the Legislature as we reform the Immunization Registry System to bring it into constitutional compliance by protecting citizens’ rights to medical privacy and requiring the state to obtain citizen consent before including private medical data in their registry,” said State Rep. Melissa Blasek (R-Merrimack), executive director of RebuildNH. “We will also continue to monitor the federal government’s attempts to control our state and its people and ensure we protect the people’s right to medical freedom and privacy. We should also consider whether the registry has a future in this state at all.”

Over the past two weeks, RebuildNH advised activists to engage civilly and peacefully at all public hearings and meetings, and today hundreds of citizens gathered to watch the Executive Council meeting and did just that. Unfortunately, more than a dozen activists were forcibly removed from the meeting by State Police, seemingly without cause.

“The crowd was well behaved and there was no reason to arrest anyone who was present in the room,” said JR Hoell, secretary/treasurer of RebuildNH, who was present in the room. “We are grateful for the moms and dads who chose to show up in person to witness government in action, and it is unfortunate that the activists had to watch their fellow citizens unjustly arrested. Is this truly a world we want to live in: where political speech and civil discourse is now a criminal offense?”

RebuildNH will be compiling video evidence from activists who were present that show citizens were respectful during the meeting.

“Today activists showed the world why peaceful and civil protests are the right strategy,” Manuse said. “The governor’s heavy-handed tactics only serve to demonstrate to a wider group of citizens that Sununu is the tyrant we’ve claimed all along.”

  3. I am so grateful you are doing this. If you are not part of an organization, you feel helpless. I hope more and more people join this movement. The alternative is truly frightening.

  4. Praise God, and many thanks to the representatives who stood up for us today! Thank you, RebuildNH for ALL that you do. I have never participated in political events before, including writing and calling campaigns, but that press conference a few weeks ago was a game changer! I wouldn’t have known what was going on if it weren’t for your efforts. I am sorry to hear that people were arrested and pray that a peaceful and just resolution is found. Much respect to you all.

  5. Thank you all for being there and sending messages to the Executive Board members. There is no COVID pandemic emergency in NH. There are no FDA-approved COVID vaccines available in NH. All the COVID vaccines are experimental and have already killed tens of thousands of Americans. Truth shall set you free!! We have not received the spirit of fear but we have the Spirit of love, power, and sound mind in Jesus.

  7. Thank you ReopenNH for keeping us informed. We must never let up because they won’t. The vaccine leads to vaccine passports or medical green pass leads to the financial system. They will persist so we must continue to resist.

  11. The protest gave Sununu the opportunity to publicly abuse us and now he is right back to subversion as usual. The only way to stop our 100% corrupt government is to embrace the order that Thomas Jefferson left for us and carry out our “duty, to throw off such government”.
To do this, we have to unite with the attitude that we the people are the highest authorities.

  12. Great to see a victory for freedom. All the heroes and patriots who attended and protested the tyranny of the Federal Government are to be commended. They are sticking up for our kids and for this once-great country. Hoping we can run all the big-government hacks out of office in upcoming elections.

  13. To all who in any way helped to make this happen, thank you.

In 2007, I stood with a small group of patriots in Massachusetts (yes, a few do exist there still) when we discovered that the Senate unanimously passed and engrossed S2028, our very own Pandemic Bill. It was alarming and dangerous, just as what we’re facing today. We shared the responsibility of becoming Citizen Lobbyists for three months while we visited every single senator who voted. Then met with every single representative. That bill finally died in a study committee, but it wasn’t the result I wanted to see. It was revived just before the current ‘Pandemic”.

If I’ve learned nothing else from my own activist days, it is that the ‘Price of Liberty is eternal Vigilance. Again, thank you for your activism and vigilance patriots I salute you all.

  15. Thank you to rebuild NH for voting 4-1 and all the activist and other citizens that supported our right and stood against government financially mandating vaccines etc . We are the people and freedom cost to stand up for what is right. Mandating vaccines is just the beginning of government power over the citizens of the USA .
