Countering Fake News With Facts

We think it’s important for you to know that fake-news has come back strong and is now fighting against our efforts, but we see this as good news. You’ve heard what Mahatma Gandhi has said, “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” We’re almost there, folks. They’re definitely fighting us on all fronts.

You might have heard of the NH Journal, but we’re going to call it the “NH Jab-now” from now on, as fake-news writer Michael Graham has been vigorously spreading misinformation in favor of the vaccine and opposed to our efforts to reject vaccine mandates and respect bodily autonomy, health freedom, and medical privacy.

For fairness, here is the absolute fabrication that Graham published yesterday, complete with libelous statements that are both false and intending to harm our chairman’s reputation. Graham wrote, “Manuse, whose extremism is well known (he once said he’d shoot himself rather than get vaccinated)…” This petty and libelous statement has no basis in reality. Manuse, the chairman of this organization, is a God-fearing man who would never say such a thing. RebuildNH has asked for a retraction twice with no response from Graham. In addition, he wrote this fake news in response to our request for a retraction to a fiction that he wrote the previous day. At this point, only a published apology is acceptable.

RebuildNH has published several statements about the events discussed in Graham‘s fake-news articles. You can read our response to Graham’s first and second fake-news article here, with our newest response up top. We also published a very strong rebuke that firmly distances ourselves from the actions of organizations that are not associated with RebuildNH. We have consistently and publicly opposed protests in front of private residences since November of 2020 (and before that privately), and we will continue to do so, because we believe the families and neighbors of public officials are off limits when it comes to opposing the officials’ actions in government. We also believe that such political action is counterproductive and actually hurts what we are trying to accomplish. It is our position that activists would be wise to avoid such groups that advocate for this behavior, but to each their own. Rather than acknowledge our long record of doing this; however, Graham chose to link us with these actions. Regarding other references in Graham’s fictions, you can read about the governor’s unjust arrests here. You can read our statement about the Executive Council’s decision to vote down the $27 million in federal dollars here. And you can read our rationale for opposing the funds here.

On top of the above, Graham has been on a war path since we brought up VAERS data in an interview earlier this fall with one of his reporters, calling us “conspiracy theorists” for bringing up this government-run database as part of a conversation. In his latest article, linked above, Graham wrote “RebuildNH continues to tout false claims the COVID-19 vaccine has killed more than 15,000 Americans, and its leaders steadfastly refuse to say publicly the vaccine is either safe or effective.”

The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System is hosted and operated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and it is the only public system that exists that allows reporting of vaccine-related incidences. The system as of Tuesday evening lists 16,766 deaths from any one of the three COVID-19 vaccines, including 58 in New Hampshire, and that number does not account for vaccine injuries and permanent disabilities. All reported incidences total 798,634, including 3,013 in New Hampshire. The vast majority of these reports, which are very detailed in nature, come from medical professionals. While some reports can be made by citizens, each report is followed-up by the CDC and removed from the database if it is found to be faulty.

What’s more important than any of this information is that the VAERS system has been found to grossly underreport vaccine incidences. A Harvard Pilgrim Health Care study commissioned by the CDC concluded that the VAERS system is only capturing 1 percent of vaccine incidences. Not only does the database have significant underreporting problems, according to the report, the same report points out that the CDC intentionally avoided heeding recommendations to fix it. What’s more? There is no viable code that can be entered on a death report that actually reads “vaccine death,” so there isn’t any other way to truly track this information. Considering that politicians and businesses are destroying people’s lives and livelihoods when they choose to avoid the COVID-19 vaccine, perhaps we should have more accurate data first?

We would ask you to consider, why is Graham parroting a narrative that doesn’t seem to be adding up, and why is he attacking us for failing to join his fools mission? If Graham is a real journalist, his job is to question authority and question the official position of the government, not to assume what the government is saying is true and attack others who question it. RebuildNH is simply asking questions that deserve an answer, and instead of answer questions, government officials, including Gov. Sununu, and reporters have been attempting to destroy anyone who asks them. We think this is a major problem and deserves investigation–not of Graham, but of the people Graham seems to be defending.

RebuildNH is about medical freedom and privacy and bodily autonomy. Perhaps this is your fight, perhaps it isn’t, but freedom for one group now is freedom for another group later, and Granite Staters care about each other’s freedom. Mandates are the problem, and everyone who loves liberty knows there is no place for force in a free society. It’s time for everyone to stand up who is reading this and ask what is the government hiding that they don’t want us to know, and how is that affecting our freedom and our way of life?

We think it’s time for Commissioner Shibinette to answer some questions

We came up with a list of questions that we believe lawmakers and the Media ought to be asking DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette, and by extension, Gov. Sununu who appointed her. Please take a look atour op-ed, which lists these questions, and help us get them answered. You are welcome to repost, copy, or email one or two of these questions to Lori Shibinette yourselves to help us get to the bottom of the state’s COVID-19 response.

We’ve added another question that we’d like you all to send along to the Commissioner.

Please ask:

  • Is it possible that DHHS is improperly categorizing COVID-19 deaths considering that a CDC public statement as well as subsequent morbidity reports note that people are considered unvaccinated until 14 days after their second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine dose or 14 days after one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine?
