🚨 URGENT — CALL TODAY 🚨
You helped push HB360, the bill to protect New Hampshire children from dangerous school-based health clinics, all the way through the House and the Senate. That is no small thing, and we are grateful.
But there’s a catch.
Senate leadership quietly attached a non-germane amendment (2026-1906s) that has nothing to do with children’s health — and everything to do with protecting hospital monopolies. This amendment would reverse a free-market healthcare solution won just last year. It is a handout, plain and simple, to the Big Healthcare donors.
Here’s Where Things Stand
Because the House and Senate passed different versions of HB360, the bill has been sent to a Committee of Conference, a committee comprised of a small group of Representatives and Senators tasked with reconciling the two versions.
They meet this Wednesday. That means we have a very short window to make sure the Senate Conferees hear from you.
The ask is simple: remove Amendment 2026-1906s and send HB360 to the Governor in its clean form. Protect our kids but don’t kill free-market healthcare. Do your job.
📞 Call These Senators RIGHT NOW
Call each of the Senate Conferees and tell them: “Remove amendment 2026-1906s and pass HB360 as the House intended.”
Senator David Rochefort – 603.271.8631
Senator Regina Birdsell – 603.271.3479
Senator Suzanne Prentiss – 603.271.3091
Be respectful but firm. We should not have to choose between our children’s safety and reducing healthcare costs.
We have come too far on HB360 to let the Senate use our kids as bargaining chips for hospital lobbyists. Make the calls. Share this email. Let’s finish what we started.
