Tuesday, April 29th, N.H. Senate

SH, Room 100
⭐ 1:30 p.m. – SUPPORT – HB71
This is an omnibus bill, but the part that RebuildNH is supporting bans the state from contracting with any hospital that violates the Patient Bill of Rights. This gives teeth to the Patient Bill of Rights and is a response to the vaccine mandates Dartmouth Hitchcock had until we raised awareness that they were breaking the law.

Thursday, May 1st, N.H. Senate Session

YEA OTP – HB230
This bill limits the authority of town health officers to make ordinances to only issues related to “nuisances”. Currently there is zero limit to their power.

NAY ITL – HB357
This bill ends rule making power over the school vaccine mandates. This is a moderate reform and RebuildNH is very disappointed in Senate Health and Human Services for killing this bill on the consent calendar. I am working on having it removed from the consent calendar for a floor vote.

✉️ Email your Senator. Note that both these bills are for the session, not a committee. You can’t register your opinion, you need to email your senator about both bills.
